Murray will present and challenge attendees to consider their understanding of probity, the risks associated with contemporary procurement and sourcing activities, including early market engagement, co-design, market-led proposals, and discuss the implications for stakeholders involved in a procurement’s life-cycle.
Murray Watt – Managing Director at Management Options
Murray Watt, MCIPS, MIAMA is the founding principal of Management Options Pty Ltd, a Queensland based, private ‘boutique’ procurement consultancy. Since its formation in 2004, Management Options has established itself as one of Australia’s leading and much sought after providers of independent probity services in Australia. Most notably of these being advising the Commission of Inquiry into the Health Payroll on probity matters.
Murray also leads Management Options’ procurement and contract management practices, advising on many significant procurements in ICT, outsourcing and infrastructure projects in Queensland and New South Wales.
Murray holds an MCIPS, an internationally recognised award which represents the global standard within the profession for a procurement and supply professional issued by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.
Murray is an accredited Probity Services Provider issued by the national accreditation body, the Resolution Institute (previously the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators of Australia).
